Chief Operating Officer

Lauren Gums is the Chief Operating Officer of Imagine Pediatrics. She believes healthcare is a right, not a privilege, and that great missions deserve great operations. She’s passionate about changing how healthcare is delivered and ensuring everyone has access to quality care. Ms. Gums oversees the clinical operations and engagement organizations and leads how Imagine Pediatrics scales its clinical model, uses technology and data, develops new capabilities, and builds the infrastructure to support its long-term growth and impact.

Ms. Gums brings more than 25 years of healthcare leadership experience and has led clinicians across primary and specialty care. Most recently, she led the integration of 98point6 into Transcarent, scaling technology-enabled care and AI-supported clinical workflows. At 98point6, she helped pioneer chat-first virtual care. Earlier, at UW Medicine, she grew an ambulatory network from nine clinics to 41 and added 16 new service lines while maintaining the network’s highest quality and patient satisfaction scores.

She holds a BS in Child and Family Studies from Syracuse University and a Master’s in Healthcare Administration from the University of Washington, and is Lean Six Sigma certified. Originally from the East Coast, Ms. Gums now lives in Seattle with her husband and two young adult children, where they enjoy the food, the mountains, and the water.
