Dr. Johar spearheads our partnerships, enabling our ability to reimagine pediatric health care together and improve the health and lives of children with medical complexity and special health care needs. Through her work as Chief Growth Officer at Imagine Pediatrics, Dr. Johar continues her lifelong quest to provide healthcare services to people in need by building and scaling innovative approaches to primary care and home health care. Previously, Dr. Johar worked at Advantia Health, an innovative women’s health focused platform. Dr. Johar led Advantia’s expansion from 20 ObGyn providers to 250 ObGyn providers, significantly improving access to care for thousands of women across the Midwest and Mid-Atlantic regions of the US. Through her time in India, Dr. Johar co-founded and scaled an award-winning social enterprise, SughaVazhvu Healthcare, a technology enabled primary care clinic network. In eight years as their CEO, she grew SughaVazhvu into a network of 10 clinics serving 100,000 patient visits providing access to chronic disease management and other primary care services to people across rural India. Dr. Johar earned an M.S. in Chemistry from Panjab University, Ph.D. in Biochemistry from ETH Zürich and PLD from Harvard Business School. She has been named an Ashoka Fellow, Aspen Fellow, Yale World Fellow, and Global Innovation Fellow at the Duke-Margolis Center for Health Policy. She was also awarded a NASSCOM Social Innovation honor, India Healthcare Award, and Asia’s 100 Pioneers award. Currently she lives in Nashville, Tennessee with her family.
